I really like 2,3 & 10. Two I considered when I was ten miles deep into a Half Marathon once and I was deciding how to handle the last 5K--in this, my best Half Mary, I determined to go for it and I did and PRed.

Three comes to mind in my experience as a soccer coach--I always told my young boys, just place us in a position to tie or win in the last 5 minutes, that's all I ask. We often played better teams, but always except for once or twice my boys did just that. I loved them for that. We stole some of those games too.

Ten is just good sense from an American icon and iconoclast. Henry David was in jail for being unconventional about paying (or not paying in his case) a tax in support of the Mexican War and Henry Wadsworth Longfellow stopped by and said, Henry, what are you doing in there? Thoreau answered by asking, Henry, what are you doing out there? Good stuff!

One of my fav quote that I include in my email signatures:
"The greater danger for most of us is not that our aim is too high and we miss it, but that it's too low and we reach it"
-Michelangelo-

Nice ones man...
